Cynthia Chong-Christianto

Cynthia Chong-Christianto loves working with children and adults to improve their language and ability to communicate.  

She has experience with a broad range of speech and language impairments.  She enjoys working with both adults and children with pronunciation, literacy and spelling difficulties and helping them to freely express their feelings and ideas. Cynthia sees many stutterers, both children and adults each week who progress on to be stutter free. She is experienced with the Lidcombe and Camperdown programs.

Cynthia has done extensive training in helping children with feeding and swallowing problems.

She specialises in working with children and adults on the autism spectrum and with developmental disabilities and complex needs. 

Cynthia has worked extensively with adults with pronunciation difficulties and with those who wish to improve their accent.  She is also able to help adults with a range of challenges commonly experienced following strokes and head injuries as well as from other neurological impairments.

Cynthia has an interest in literacy and is skilled in identifying reading and spelling issues and helping children and adults overcome them.

She has completed Introduction to PROMPT(c) Technique and is skilled in treating motor speech disorders.
