Elizabeth Barty

Elizabeth Barty comes to Eastside Speech after holding senior speech pathology roles at Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth and the Centre for Cerebral Palsy, Western Australia. Like many of our Eastside therapists, she is experienced in working with both children and adults. She has been a speech pathologist for more than 30 years.

She has expertise in PROMPT therapy and has completed introduction and bridging courses.  She has extensive experience working with children with cerebral palsy after managing the Centre for Cerebral Palsy WA for 6 years. Elizabeth also has extensive experience in adult and paediatric swallowing disorders and management. She is also skilled in working with literacy problems.

Elizabeth has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) in 1980 and a Master of Arts (Applied Linguistics) in 1987. She is passionate about providing effective evidence-based contemporary therapy to individuals and their families.
